Situated in North Scarle, Lincolnshire, Lowlands Country Retreat is a luxurious destination that offers excellent fishing to the dedicated Carp angler. Indeed, the site comprises of 11 lakes, all of which host a variety of fishing features.
The overhanging branches, long reeds and lily pads add to the venue’s serene atmosphere. Furthermore, the mature trees that surround the location give a heightened sense of seclusion and privacy.
Importantly, all the waters are well maintained and regularly restocked with Bream, Tench, Roach, Perch and Carp.

What size do the fish go to?
Carp generally weigh in at double figures, with the biggest fish reaching 20lbs. Moreover, Bream, Tench, Roach and Perch are usually recorded between 2 and 7lbs.
What tactics work well?
Scented meats work very well as bait. Also, using a feeder with sweetcorn or worms helps to entice the larger carp. Additionally, during the summer, pellets and boilies should be utilised.
What facilities are on site?
There are 2 tackle and bait shops within a short distance of the main site. Furthermore, accommodation is available in the form of a caravan site and luxury lodges. Clean and accessible toilet and shower facilities are open to guests.
