This venue is exclusive to guests staying at the holiday park and day tickets are no longer available.
In total there are 5 lakes here which suit all different ages and levels. It’s great for those that just want to get away from it all.
Here is a brief overview of the lakes:
Oak Pond
This is the first lake and you get a feeling of isolation here as it’s full of trees that can provide shade on a sunny day. Our tip would be to fish near the reeds, but watch out as once the fish is hooked they will make a beeline for these.
Carp in this lake go up to 18lb and here’s plenty of silverfish
Birch Pond
This is a silvers only lake which we think is great as it’s rare to find these kinds of lakes nowadays. As it’s silvers only it means it’s a good pond for beginners and the pegs are big which enables 2 people to fish together on a swim.
Sycamore Pond
This lake is stuffed full of medium-sized carp. If you want a busy day of rod bending action then this is the lake for you.
Ash Pond
A harder lake to fish but if your float goes under you will likely be rewarded with a bigger fish as there are a lot of carp ranging from 10 to 20lb in here with the biggest being just over 20lb.
Larch Pond
Just a great all-around little lake that’s suitable for those with accessibility issues. The carp in here go to 14lb and there’s plenty of silver fish.

The method feeder works really well on these lakes.
What facilities are on site?
There is a cafe on site.
There is also a fully stocked fishing tackle shop selling all the equipment and bait you can think of.
Is parking available?
Yes, as it’s a holiday park there is plenty of fishing available.
