Fishery Information
Open all year round, Magpie Like is a day ticket fishery that is popular to Cambridge and Cambridgeshire anglers. This water is available for both casual and match anglers and is well-stocked with carp to 16 lbs, perch to 1 lb, roach to 2 lbs, rudd, tench to 4 lbs, pike and bream.
This 5-foot deep water has a lot of features, including a very large central island. It also has deep margins and plenty of reed beds.
Permits can be purchased from local tackle shops in Cambridge. Please note that anglers over the age of 12 must have a valid EA rod licence and anglers under 16 years of age should be accompanied by an adult.
Floating baits, tins on the bank, meat baits of any description, beans, nuts, and barbed hooks are prohibited.
