Fishery Information
March View Farm Fishery is located in the lovely Burgh Castle in the county of Norfolk. Its not the biggest lake as its only 2.25 acres in size but its set in lovely scenery and its a great place to spend the weekend trying to catch some specimen carp.
Theres only 8 fishable swims on the lake, which we think is a great idea. It means its never going to get over crowded. As well as carp there’s also a good stock of roach, rudd, bream, tench and some small carp.
Theres plenty of big carp to over 18lb you can fish it from 8am to 8pm.
Whats great about this fishery is that under 16s can fish for free as long as they are with an adult. What a great way to help get kids into the sport.
Tickets are available from the nearby Queens head pub or from Gorleston tackle shop which is just down the road.
What size do the fish go to?
Theres not much information out there about the fish stock but we believe there are fish to over 18lb and its likely that these are over 20lb now.
What tactics work well?
We are not sure what works well.
What facilities are on site?
Unknown.
Is parking available?
Yes, parking is available.
