Fishery Information
Meadowside Fisheries can be found in Winnards Perch, approximately 12 miles from Newquay in Cornwall. A day spent coarse fishing at the Coarse Fisheries facility is sure to be one of the most enjoyable and relaxing experiences, you will ever have.
The fishery has two lakes: The Middle Lake and the Bottom Lake, which cover over 3 acres combined and are both, stocked with plenty of coarse fish. Both lakes have islands and sheltered pegs, making them ideal for anglers of all skill levels.
The Middle Lake is a man-made coarse fishing lake that spans two acres in size and has depths ranging from five feet to ten feet. It features four islands. Mirror Carp, Common Carp, Roach, Perch, Bream, Tench, and Skimmers are some of the fish found in the lake.
Another man-made lake specifically designed for coarse fishing, Bottom Lake spreads across 1.5 acres. It has a single island in the middle, and has depths ranging from 5 to 12 feet. Carp, Tench, and Barbel are the most common fish species at the Bottom Lake.
