A beautiful fishing spot close to the town of Failsworth, Greater Manchester, Medlock Valley Fishery offers a variety of swims from which you can fish. The lake is close to the Iron Bridge, and is considered a site of biological importance.
The lake is home to a good head of sizeable carp which can best be fished using a pole among the ring of weeds in the centre of the water. The fishery is easy to reach from the local road networks.
