Middleton Fishery is a loch that spans an area of 5 acres located in Brisbane Glen. From here, one may enjoy picturesque views of the scenic Ayrshire Hills. You can also spot hawks and buzzards at any time, along with deer, in their natural habitat. Because the water in the spring-fed loch is so incredibly clear, it is easy to see fish feeding on the bottom of the body of water, making for excellent top-water fishing. It receives a new supply of Rainbows, Blues, Tigers, and Browns weekly.
What size do the fish go to?
The fishery is stocked on a weekly basis with excellent fully finned hard fighting fish ranging in size from two pounds and up into the double digits.
What tactics work well?
Because of the high concentration of natural insects and flies in the loch, it is an excellent location for dry fly and nymph fishing.
What facilities are on site?
The information on on-site facilities is not available apart from the fact that it is a wonderful spot for bank fishing, with convenient access to the entire perimeter of this secluded venue.
