Fishery Information
Close to the town of Pulborough in West Sussex is Mill Farm Fishery. Featuring three well-stocked lakes, this popular fishery is easy to reach from the local main road network and is popular with locals and anglers from further afield.
Occupying a pleasant and quiet spot, each of the lakes is well-stocked with a good head of carp plus other species such as bream, perch and tench to decent sizes. Mill Pond and Specimen Lake are older mature waters, with Hammer Pond having been added recently.
Each of the lakes has plenty of pegs without being overcrowded, and day tickets are available at sensible prices. The fishery is popular with novice and experienced anglers, and caters more than adequately for disabled persons with some dedicated pegs.
What size do the fish go to?
Mill Pond holds a good head of carp up to 25lb with many in double figures. Perch over 4lb and tench of 9lb are also present. Specimen Lake contains fish that are all 10lb or more, with carp in excess of 30lb. Hammer Pond is home to a selection of smaller coarse species having been recently stocked.
What tactics work well?
Recommended bait are red maggots, sweet corn, bread and pellets.
What facilities are on site?
Facilities at Mill Farm Fishery are good with the ‘Angler’s Lodge’ providing toilets including those for disabled persons, plus tea and coffee making equipment and a microwave.
Is parking available?
Parking is available close to the lakes.
