Fishery Information
Situated in the rural village of Great Ellingham in the heart of Norfolk is Mill Farm Fishery and Caravan Site. With 3 lakes providing a tranquil fishing spot, the site is easily accessed from the A11 or A47, with the nearest town being Attleborough.
The lakes are stocked with good-sized carp and vary in depth from 3 to 10ft, providing different challenges for anglers. Also in the lakes are sizeable roach, tench and crucians. Each lake has a number of pegs without being overcrowded.
Fishing is available for residents of the campsite as well as visitors, and is suitable for experienced and novice anglers. It is an attractive fishery and the campsite is also a popular place for angling holidays.
What size do the fish go to?
There are plentiful good-sized car in each of the lakes with the biggest believed to be 15lb and more. Other coarse fish are also well-established.
What facilities are on site?
The campsite offers a toilet and shower block that can be used by anglers. A five minute walk takes you to the local pub, a welcoming establishment that also serves food, and there is a general store nearby for basic supplies.
Is parking available?
There is ample parking close to the lake.
