Fishery Information
Bolton le Sands, which is located just outside of Carnforth, is home to the Mount Pleasant Farm Fishery. Th fishery is positioned on a working farm and it features a small but heavily stocked and well-maintained single lake.
It is ideal for both experienced anglers and novices, and offers a calm and serene setting with a wide variety of fish. The fish include barbel, bream, carp, chub, perch, roach, rudd, tench, and sturgeon. If you want to fish at the lake, you will need to arrive early because there are only 7-day ticket pegs available.
There is an 8th peg, but it is reserved exclusively for members of the club. Day tickets start at just £5 for one rod, and annual membership starts at just £89 for one rod (two rod options are also available).
What size do the fish go to?
Carp to 22lb, and Tench up to 6lb+
What tactics work well?
General coarse and carp fishing tactics work just fine.
