Naseby Reservoir is a stunning location in Northamptonshire that offers pristine fishing to the keen Carp angler. The venue spans across 90 acres and the waters offer numerous fishing features. The mature woodland surroundings are home to numerous wildlife species and also provide shelter from the elements. Furthermore, the are several spacious swims on offer, with many of them being fully accessible to elderly and disabled anglers.
The waters are well stocked with Bream, Tench, Rudd, and Carp. Additionally, the venue is open for both day ticket anglers and members. Importantly, the waters are open 24 hours.
What size do the fish go to?
Bream, Tench and Rudd tend to weigh between 3 and 9lbs. Carp are commonly landed in double figures, with the largest fish exceeding 20lbs.
What tactics work well?
Standard still water methods generally work well. Also, utilising pellets and boilies during warmer months is beneficial. Worms, maggots, sweetcorn, and prawns are all popular choices of bait.
