Fishery Information
Situated in a stunning location in Oxfordshire, Nellbridge fishery offers excellent fishing to the keen carp angler. The site comprises of 2 lakes, both of which offer a variety of fishing features.
The old lake is notorious for providing excellent coarse fishing. There are several spacious swims available, and the mature trees add to the serene atmosphere. Furthermore, numerous birdlife species can be spotted all around the facility. The waters are home to a healthy stock of Perch, Bream, Roach and Carp.
The new lake is slightly bigger in size. Again, there are numerous spacious spots available to fish from. Additionally, the lake is well known for offering decent sized Carp, as well as Tench, Perch, Roach and Rudd.
What size do the fish go to?
Tench, bream, Perch and Roach generally weigh between 2 and 8lbs. Carp are landed with frequency in double figures at both sites. Moreover, on occasion Carp can even exceed 30lbs in the New Lake.
What tactics work well?
Standard still water tactics are typically effective. Also, utilising pellets and boilies in the summer months can be of great benefit. Worms, sweetcorn, and cured meat are all popular choices of bait.
What facilities are on site?
Clean and accessible toilet facilities are open to visitors.
