Fishery Information
The lake is available on a day/night ticket basis. No booking required, as with the other lakes, the bailiff will collect the money on the bank. It is also available to book for private group sessions with exclusive use for up to 10 anglers for up to 72 hours. This will guarantee total privacy and exclusivity. Please contact Maxine on 01245 231010 for details. The Moat Lake, Brook Lake and Park Lake are also bookable for matches. We do not book individual swims for day and night tickets; this is operated on a first come first served basis.
Newland Hall Fishery is an ideal location for anglers of all sorts. Featuring four fishing lakes, this property ranges about 10 acres of well-managed, clean, well-stocked waters.
Brook Lake boasts pegs for 50 anglers, with good stock of roach, tench, common carp, and mirror carp. Many love this lake for casual and match fishing alike.
Moat Lake features pegs for 30, with a quality stock of common carp, mirror carp, and roach. Fish are reportedly smaller in Moat Lake, but that doesn’t impact the enjoyment or competition of match fishing in these waters.
Park Lake has pegs for 15 and is stocked like Moat Lake, with plenty of carp and roach in particular.
Osiers Lake is unique in that it is a specialist carp lake, with just 10 swims carrying specific names. This lake is noted for its appeal to serious carpers and tickets are required for access.
What size do the fish go to?
30-pound carp have been reported in Brook Lake, while smaller fish are found in Moat Lake and Park Lake. Fishing in Osiers Lake finds ranges of 15 to 35-pound carp, which explains its special status for competitive anglers.
