Fishery Information
The body of water known as Nyewood Waters is made up of two ponds, each of which is roughly 2 acres in size. Harting, Hampshire is home to the Petersfield Angling Club’s club water, which is managed by the city.
The Nyewood top pond is only four feet deep and is surrounded by trees that hang over the edge. Carp, Tench, Perch, Specimen Roach, Rudd, Bream, and Eels are the fish found there. It is not challenging to fish in this body of water, and even an average outing will result in a significant catch.
Six feet deep, with overhanging trees, Nyewood Bottom Pond hosts a wide variety of fish, including Specimen Perch and Specimen Roach, as well as Carp and Ghost Carp. It is also simple to fish in this body of water, as evidenced by the large weights of fish, up to and including double-digit carp on a typical outing.
