Fishery Information
Located in Haxey, Doncaster, Oak Tree Holiday Park and Fishery offers excellent fishing to both the leisure and more dedicated angler. The venue comprises of two lakes, both of which are well stocked and offer numerous features.
The main lake is circular in shape, with a small Island placed in the centre, Furthermore, there over 20 pegs, several of which have disabled access. Additionally, the water has a healthy stock of Bream, Tench, Perch, Roach and Carp.
Snake Lake is an 11-metre-wide canal style fishery. Again, the waters hold a healthy stock of fish, included Barbel, Chub, Tench, Roach and Bream.
What size do the fish go to?
Tench, Roach, Perch, Chub and Bream tend to weigh between 2 and 7lbs. Moreover, Barbel and Carp often reach double figures, with larger Carp exceeding 20lbs.
What tactics work well?
In the main lake, anglers tend to fish near the central channel. Also, corn, sweetcorn and worms make excellent baits. Furthermore, utilising pellets and boilies during the warmer months is extremely effective.
What facilities are on site?
Accommodation is available in the form of a luxury caravan park and clean, accessible toilet facilities are open to visitors.
