What size do the fish go to?
Carp go to 25 lbs.
What tactics work well?
Pellets, boilies and meat are popular hook baits used on Swallow Lake. Regular loose feeding or a tea bag style approach tend to work well, too. On warmer days, the fish tend to feed well on the surface and can be attacked shallow on the pole or in the margins later in the day.
F1 carp respond well to maggot or pellet in open water with the carp best targeted tight to the islands or the margins later in the day on meat, pellet, corn or paste. The method feeder tight to the islands can also work well for the carp. Barbel respond well to worms, maggots or meat.
What facilities are on site?
On-site facilities include 4 fully tied toilets (2 male, 1 female and a larger disabled unit), car perking and well-maintained permanent pegs.
Is parking available?
Parking is available on site.
