Oakham Farm is a small family run farm in the heart of Warwickshire. Anglers interested in coarse fishing will find four well-stocked pools, each of which contains a healthy population of carp, tench, roach, perch, and koi carp in the Barn Pool. The waters are open throughout the year and provide good fishing in both the summer and winter. Fishing fees are collected on the bank, enabling anglers to proceed directly to their pegs and begin fishing.
Island Pool is the first body of water that anglers come to after entering the field. The waters cover a total area of half an acre.
The Oakwood Pool is the largest and most popular of the waters at Oakham Farm, and it encompasses more than a half-acre of land. The depth of the pool ranges from two to three feet near the shallow end, but it is on average between five and six feet deep throughout the majority of the pool. Anglers who choose to fish in Oak Wood Pool are reminded to exercise caution when casting so as to avoid colliding with the high voltage power lines that run along one edge of the body of water.
It is believed that the Barn Pool was originally a natural pool. However, in recent years it has been enlarged twice, bringing it to a size that is approximately four times greater than when it was first constructed. In most scenarios, its depth ranges from three to four feet, and its sides are relatively steep.
