Fishery Information
Oakwood Park lakes is known as Oakwood Park “Predator” Lakes as its known for its large catfish that go to over 120lb and there’s also big carp that are over 35lb. it is located just outside the lovely village of Hockwold and has 33 acres of remote woodlands which means you will be guaranteed to enjoy a peaceful days fishing in this tranquil paradise.
Within the fishery there are 3 lakes, only 2 of these are fishable as one is an ornamental pond that has a picnic area by that you can enjoy.
The largest lake is the predator lake which is just under 5 acres in size and has depths of up to 10 feet and is fed by a natural spring.
What size do the fish go to?
Catfish to 120lb and carp to over 35lb.
What tactics work well?
We are not sure, it’s worth giving them a call to ask.
What facilities are on-site?
There are toilet and shower facilities onsite.
There’s also a cafe serving full breakfasts and hold and cold snacks.
