Fishery Information
Situated in the idyllic Derbyshire countryside between the low-lying hills of the Amber Valley, Ogston Reservoir is a members-only coarse and fly fishing water located near the villages of Brackenfield, Ashover and Clay Cross. With an area of 220 acres of open water, this reservoir holds 1300 million gallons of water that it gets from the River Amber.
This clear water is stocked with rainbow trout. Since this is a “top of the water” fishery, sport could be hectic when conditions are right.
