Fishery Information
Olivers Lake is a beautiful 4-acre lake nestled in open countryside near Witham and Hatfield Peverel, Olivers Lake. It is a popular destination for families, and one of the still water lakes owned by Colchester Angling Preservation Society Ltd- CAPS.
With four pegs and a high stocking density of fish of a variety of species, including Bream, Tench, Crucians, Roach, Rudd, and Ghost Carp (among others), the lake is a general fishing hotspot.
A large number of Carp are also present, with the typical fish reaching double figures. There are no dedicated swims or amenities for the disabled at this location. It is open all year round and does not have a closed season.
