What tactics work well?
The key to catching the most fish at a depth of about three feet is to fish along the margins (use your plummet). Floats are effective when mounted on either a rod or a pole. All kinds of baits are effective, but bread is the one that seems to work the best. You can choose to fish on the top or on the bottom, depending on the weather. The successful strategy calls for continuous trickle feeding throughout the summer as well as the winter.
