Fishery Information
Reopened in 2013, Pasture Wood Fisheries is a 15-acre fishing venue that boasts 3 well-stocked and maintained lakes. Situated in Barton Upon Humber along the side of the Humber River with the bridge in the background, this fishery is an ideal location for anglers and birdwatchers. Fishing on site is available from dawn until dusk, 363 days a year. They are also available for club match bookings.
The first lake you will see once you arrive at the venue is the Neck Lake. Covering 1.3 acres, this 23-peg water is home to big fish and has a depth of up to 6 feet. Residents of this lake include carp to 30 lbs, tench, bream, roach, ide and rudd.
Connected to the Neck Lake by a wooden bridge, the Main Lake is a 5.9-acre water that has depths from 5 to 20 feet. It is home to carp to over 30 lbs, pike to over 40 lbs, bream, rudd, roach, ide and eels. This water has approximately 40 pegs. There are also newly built double pegs that are ideal for bivvies.
Covering 1.3 acres of water, the Canal Lake is 250 metres long and 20 metres wide. This 21-peg lake has depths that vary from 4 to 10 feet. Fish species present in this water include carp to 25 lbs, tench, roach, ide, pike, bream and barbel.
What size do the fish go to?
Carp go to over 30 lbs and pike to over 40 lbs.
