Fishery Information
Situated in Marden, Kent, Pattenden lake is a serene farm fishery that offers a wide variety of fish species as well as stunning scenery.
There are several firmly grounded swims with willow trees overhanging the water’s edge. The venue is open from 8am-5pm for day fishing and night fishing can be approved but only if pre-booked.
The average depth of the water is 11ft and a healthy stock of Bream, Tench, Carp, Roach, Rudd and Perch are to be found.
What size do the fish go to?
There are ample Carp hitting the 20lbs region, Bream at around 3lbs, and large Tench at 12lbs.
What tactics work well?
Tench, Carp, Roach, Rudd and Perch can by enticed by using a feeder with worms or sweetcorn. On warmer days, surface baits are particularly effective for catching Bream, large Tench and Carp.
