Pen Y Fan Pond is a 14-acre lake controlled by Islwyn and District Anglers. Located in Penyfan, the lake has been in existence for over 100 years and is used for fly fishing only.
What size do the fish go to?
The lake is stocked with quality rainbow trout that grow quickly due to the rich insect life. There is also a small population of natural and stocked brown trout, with some growing to specimen size.

Fly fishing is the only allowed method at Pen Y Fan Pond.
