Fishery Information
Located on Llandegla Road in Mold, Flintshire, the Pen-y-Ffrith Coarse Fishery consists of three lakes.
The first lake is the Spring Lake, a 3-acre carp fishing specimen water body with an island and neat edges. There are several perch species weighing 2/3lb+, as well as some very large carp 28/30lb+ and many more doubles.
The second is Spinney, the match lake which is around 1.5 acres. Mirror carp, common carp, and tench are present here and in plenty. The bulk of the carp captured range in size from 2lb to 8lb, however there is a record of carp as large as 16lb being caught
The third lake is the Pine Lake, which is 3 acres and well stocked with common and mirror carp, tench, bream, roach, and perch.
