Controlled by the Barnes & Mortlake Angling & Preservation Society, Potomac Lake is a 2-acre water that features an island. Originally a clay pit named Cole’s Hole, this lake dates back to the 1700s and was purchased by The Rothschild family in the 1800s.
Potomac Lake is approximately 24 feet deep and home to carp to over 30 lbs, pike to 38 lbs 4 oz, eels, perch, roach and rudd.
Night fishing is available for this fishery but only for permit holders.
