Set in a beautiful countryside location near Skegness, Rainwater Lake offers excellent fishing to the keen Carp angler. The site is peaceful, and family owned, offering peace and quiet for anglers and holiday makers alike.
There are numerous spacious swims on offer, most of which offer access to elderly and disabled anglers. The venue aims to be welcoming to both seasoned anglers and novices. Furthermore, the facilities and surroundings offer an ideal spot for the family day out or holiday. However, it is important to note that juniors must be accompanied by adults at all times.
The waters are home to a number of Bream, Tench, Roach, Perch and Carp.
What size do the fish go to?
Carp are commonly landed in double figures, with the largest specimen reaching 20lbs. Additionally, Bream, Tench, Perch and Roach generally come in between 3 and 7lbs.
What tactics work well?
Worms, cured meat, sweetcorn and maggots are all popular choices of bait. Moreover, utilising pellets and boilies can be effective during the summer. Importantly, only barbless hooks are permitted.
What facilities are on site?
Accommodation is available in the form of luxury apartments. Also, clean and accessible toilet and shower facilities are open to visitors.
