Located in the rolling hills of Herefordshire, Redmire Pool was stocked with 50 small Carp in March 1934 to combat extensive weed growth. These fish, known as “Leneys,” have produced most of the known big Carp in England today. The pool has been fished by famous names in Carp Fishing, such as Jack Hilton, Tom Mintram, Bill Quinlan, Len Arbery, Kevin Clifford, Peter Springate, and Kevin Maddocks.
