What size do the fish go to?
Common carp up to 10lb, tench up to 4lb, perch up to 2lb, roach, and golden orfe up to 3-4lb. The record catches are 27lbs for the small lake and 22lbs for the big lake.
What tactics work well?
For carp, fish with boilies, corn or pellet baits, and fish close to the reed beds or lilies. For roach and perch, try using maggots or worms as bait. For tench, use worms, sweetcorn or pellets on the bottom. For golden orfe, try using small lures, maggots or bread as bait.
