Fishery Information
Managed by the Cambridge Fish Preservation and Angling Society, River Cam is surrounded by attractive woodland. The site is home to a number of small ponds, which are managed for the benefit of amphibians. They only allow members to fish on the waters. Junior anglers under the age of 16 may fish for free.
This fishery is home to bream to 5 lbs., chub to 5 lbs., perch to 2 lbs., pike to 20 lbs.,and roach.
To get there, follow these directions. From Trumpington, take Grantchester Road towards Grantchester. Turn left before the river and cottages sign posted for Byron’s Pool.
