Fishery Information
Located in Stowmarket, Suffolk, Riverside Fishery is a stunning location that offers excellent fishing to anglers of all levels. The surroundings are incredibly peaceful, making them ideal for the relaxing getaway.
Furthermore, the mature trees around the perimeter are home to numerous birdlife species. The lake is approximately 1.5 acres in total with an average depth of 5ft. Additionally, there are a variety of fishing features, including small Island and lily pads.
The lake is well stocked with some good-sized Tench, Carp and Sturgeon.
What size do the fish go to?
Tench tend to weigh between 3 and 7lbs. Also, Sturgeon frequently come in at double figures, with larger varieties reaching 15lbs. There are many large Carp on offer, with a number of them exceeding 30lbs.
What tactics work well?
Standard still water methods work well. Moreover, utilising pellets and boilies during the warmer months helps entice the larger Carp. Worms, maggots and sweetcorn are all popular choices of bait.
What facilities are on site?
Accommodation is available in the form of a campsite. Also, there is a café/restaurant on site which sells fresh food and a range of beverages. Clean and accessible toilet facilities are open to visitors.
