Roanhead complex, located in Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria, is under the control of the Furness fishing association. The carp, Hurty Gurty is Cumbria’s largest, and found in the portion of the High pond closest to the lane. The pond adjacent to this one is a shallow pond redesigned roughly twenty years ago to make it less deep. This depth is ideal for match fishing. The next lake is the breathtaking Burn hole, a secluded body of water lined with trees and an abundance of wildlife. Fish stock includes Pike, Perch, Carp, Bream, and Rudd.
