Fishery Information
Located on the Jurassic Coast and just outside Weymouth, Rosewall is a family-run camping park that offers guests the opportunity to enjoy nature at its best. It features two lakes, both of which are easily accessible on foot by going through the riding stables.
Wally’s Lake, which covers more than one and half acres, is at the bottom of a forested valley. The lake is naturally stocked with specimen Carp, specimen Bream, and Roach, and it offers coarse fishing opportunities for anglers of all experience levels.
The other lake, Meadow Lake is approximately 2.75. It is naturally stocked with fish from Wally’s Lake and has two feature islands.
What size do the fish go to?
Carp to nearly 30 lb, specimen Bream over 13 lb
What tactics work well?
Best baits have proven to be tiger nut boillies and halibut pellets for the Carp, sweetcorn, and worm for the Bream, sweetcorn, and maggots for the Roach.
When fishing for Carp a 36” landing net and unhooking mat are required
