Fishery Information
Managed by the Bromley (Kent) & District Angling Society, this beautiful lake was established in 1948. Most of its members are purely pleasure anglers. It covers 5 acres of water in a quiet woodland setting. It is home to stunning bream, carp, perch, roach, rudd and tench.
If you like to experience fishing on an ancient water, this is a perfect choice for you. This 16th century lake holds carp up to 16 lbs. and tench to 8 lbs.. It used to power furnaces once upon a time.
Night fishing is not allowed on site for new members who are on their first year. This is a members only water, so fishing for unregistered visitors is not permitted at all.

What tactics work well?
Tench: use boilies (mini to 14); sweet corn, maggot, pellet, bread and worm.
Carp: use boilies (mini to 14); sweet corn, luncheon meat and floating bread. Strong lines recommended as large carp bolt straight to the lily pads.
Bream: use sweet corn, pellet, maggot caster and worm. For best results, use a combination of these.
Roach: use sweet corn, pellet, maggot caster, hemp and bread.
Rudd: use sweet corn, pellet, maggot caster, hemp and bread.
Perch: use maggot and worm.
