Set in the beautiful foothills of the Pennines, Scout Dike Reservoir is a 40-acre prime trout fishing venue situated off the A629 north of the idyllic market town of Penistone. Home of the Barnsley Trout Club for over 43 years, this water holds rainbow and blue trout ranging between 1.5 lbs and 8 lbs as well as brown trout to 10 lbs.
Scout Dike Reservoir is approximately 6 miles from the centre of Barnsley, 10 miles from the centres of Huddersfield and Sheffield and just 3 miles from the Peak District National Park.
