Fishery Information
Located near the beautiful market town of Knutsford, Cheshire, Shakerley Mere is a 17-acre water run by the Lymm Angling Club. The mere is well-stocked with carp to over 30 lbs, bream into double figures, perch to over 4 lbs and roach.
Day tickets are available for this fishery. Fishing is allowed from designated pegs only. Ground bait of any nature is not permitted.
The maximum stay on this water is 72 hours for members, dawn until dusk for day tickets, and 8am for 24 hours and 8am for 48 hours for non-members who have purchased a valid ticket.
To get there, follow these directions. Heading south on the M6, leave at junction 19 (Knutsford). Turn right towards Chester along the A556. Travel for about 4 miles before turning left onto the B5082, sign posted Holmes Chapel. Continue along the B5082 for about 3 miles to the crossroads with the B5081. Turn left at the Three Greyhounds pub and Shakerley Mere is the first opening on the left.
