Fishery Information
Shelt Hill Farm and Fishery is a multi-purpose establishment located in the picturesque and tranquil neighborhood of Woodborough in Nottingham. It has three fishing lakes surrounded by one hundred acres of land and custom-built platform pegs. These lakes have a good stock of a diverse range of fish , including carp, ide, barbel, chub, rudd, and Crucian Carp, making it ideal for fishing enthusiasts of all kinds. Day tickets can be purchased on the bank.
Chestnut Lake is a 35 peg snake lake. The majority of the pegs provide access to the central island, located approximately 16 meters away from the bank. For the most part, carp will congregate on the edge pegs where you are fishing with your back towards the opposite lake.
Hazel Lake is a smaller version of Snake Lake and has twenty pegs. It is home to a respectable population of silvers.
Anglers who are just starting out will find success fishing in Stock Pond.
