Fishery Information
Situated near Wigan, Spring View Fisheries is a tranquil setting which provides excellent coarse fishing for both the novice and more seasoned angler. The site has 3 lakes, all of which provide a range of fishing features as well as a healthy stock of Carp, Tench, Bream, Roach and Pike.
The triangular pool is by far the most popular of the 3 lakes. Day tickets can be purchased on site and night fishing is permitted, as long as it has been booked beforehand.
What size do the fish go to?
Bream, Tench and Roach tend to weigh between 2 and 7lbs. Carp and Pike are frequently caught well into double figures, with larger fish exceeding 30lbs.
What tactics work well?
Using a feeder with worms, maggots or sweetcorn tends to be a very effective tactic. During the warmer months, anglers may wish to consider utilising pellets and boilies.
What facilities are on site?
Clean and accessible toilet facilities are available on location.
