Springwell Lake Information
Part of the Rickmansworth lakes in Colne Valley Park, Springwell lake is open all year to members and annual permit holders. The reservoir offers breathtaking scenery and is well stocked with Bream, Carp, Perch, Chub and Roach.
What size do the fish go to?
Common Carp averaging around 15 lbs are caught with frequency, as well as Mirror Carp weighing in at up to 25 lbs.
What tactics work well?
Using the feeder with sweetcorn and worms tends to yield excellent results. Anglers have also found that using pellets and boilies during the warmer months lead to outstanding results for Carp.
Is parking available?
Parking is available in the Coy Park public house car park, in a designated area that is away from the pub itself.
