St Ives Fishery is a nine-lake complex with a rich portfolio of large and unspoilt waters in Cambridgeshire. It is home to a variety of species, including big carp, tench, bream, eels, and pike.
What size do the fish go to?
The lakes at St Ives Fishery contain a variety of sizes of fish. The legendary St Ives Lagoon is home to stunning original big carp to the upper 40lb bracket, including a few very elusive up and coming fish which have barely seen the bank. The Shallow Pit stocks around 20 fish over the 30lb mark to a best of 48-08lb. The Meadow/Fjords Lake has an ever-growing 300-strong band of stunning stockies, which have now touched 30lb, with fish in the 20-25lb range common. The Long Reach Lake has carp to over 40lb, double-figure tench and bream, monster eels and some very large pike swimming in its depths.
