Stanners Pool is in Sankey Valley, a public park in Warrington, Cheshire. The Common carp, Roach, and Mirror carp are the most popular species caught here. The improvement of the pond began in 2021 because of a collaborative effort between the Warrington Borough Council, the Dallam and District Community Angling Group, and the Environment Agency.
The revamped facility will, enhance the habitat for wildlife and the parkland landscape for the benefit of the local community and park visitors, in addition to providing increased provision for angling.
