Fishery Information
Situated near Bethersden, Ashford, Surrenden lakes is a stunning location comprising of three lakes in total.
The first lake is 3 acres in size and boasts numerous impressive fishing features. The second is a much larger lake, spanning a total of 7 acres. The third lake is a 2-acre match lake. All three of these locations boast a healthy stock of Carp, Barbel, Chub, Tench, Bream, Perch and Rudd.
The site is open to members only. Upon joining, members will be offered a key in which they can gain access through a high steel gate next to the car park.
What size do the fish go to?
Carp can weigh up to 25lbs. Barbel, Chub, Perch and Bream are frequently caught within the region of 4-8lbs.
What tactics work well?
Using a feeder with sweetcorn or worms tends to entice the larger Carp. In the warmer months, anglers have found pellets and boilies to be particularly effective.
What facilities are on site?
Clean and accessible toilet facilities are available on location.
Is parking available?
There are safe and secure car parking spaces adjacent to the lakes.
