Located in Longparish, Hampshire, Sutton springs is a stunning location, comprising of two angling venues. The first is available for day ticket fishing and boasts a healthy stock of Brown and Rainbow Trout.
The second venue, called Testwood Trout Fishery, is located five miles away. Testwood is significantly larger and is reserved for parties of at least 6 people. Again, a healthy selection of Brown and Rainbow Trout can be found at this location.
Fishing in either of these areas is brings guaranteed enjoyment for the angler who appreciates stalking.
What size do the fish go to?
Brown and Rainbow trout are caught with frequency between 25lb and 30lb. The record for the venue so far is a Trout at 37lbs.
What tactics work well?
Small spinners, crankbaits, spoons and jigs have all proven to be effective in these waters.
What facilities are on site?
The fishery lodge offers cooking amenities, tea, coffee, cold beverages, clean toilet facilities, as well as bags for taking home your catch. An exchange smoking service is on offer at £10 per fish, which has proven to be popular as it alleviates having to take home fish that have not been gutted.
