Fishery Information
Day ticket fishing for carp up to 37lbs in the South Downs. The beautiful carp at this venue are spread across three lakes. This venue has some of the most stunning mirror carp that you will ever catch, and you really won’t care if the carp has beaten your PB when you see how absolutely gorgeous it is.
What size do the fish go to?
The Specimen Lake here is one of the best carp fishing day ticket lakes in East Sussex. It has a mix of carp up to 37lbs, and many of the carp are over 30lb.
The tench lake has wonderful examples of tench, bream and rudd and is a great lake for a beginner or pole and float fishing. However, many anglers are now fishing this lake for the sole 30lb carp that calls it home.
Finally, there is Decoy Lake which is the smallest lake on site but still holds plenty of lovely fish. There is an average stamp of 20lbs on this lake, with the largest being 27lbs. There is a real high chance of catching a 20 here.
What tactics work well?
Tactics on the specimen lake are season-dependent, so speak with the staff when you arrive. On the tench lake, though, it seems if you have bait on your hook, you will catch something. A method feeder in this lake would offer a fishing session that you’ll never forget.
What facilities are on site?
There is a toilet and shower block. There is also a drinking tap. There is a tackle shop close by as well.
Is parking available?
Yes, there are two car parks available here.
