Fishery Information
Situated in the lovely Norfolk countryside is Swanton Morley Fishing Lakes. This covers 50 acres and its split between 2 small lakes and 3 large puts.
The 2 smaller ponds are for members only.
In the lakes you will find a great stock of large roach with some of these specimens reaching over 2lbs.
Theres a great stock of bream which go up to 15lb and even some monster tench that can be caught at 8lb.
The carp also grow big in these lakes and can be caught up to 25lbs.
As well as all the lakes there’s a quarter mile stretch of the River Wensum which is known as an excellent river where you can catch plenty of roach, dace, chub and Pike.
What size do the fish go to?
- Roach in excess of 2lb
- Bream to 15lb
- Tench to 8lb
- Perch to 3lb
- Various Carp in excess of 15lb
- Pike in excess of 20lb
