Fishery Information
Sycamore Lakes Park is an impressive luxury holiday home location in a beautiful setting close to the village of Burgh-le-Marsh in Lincolnshire. The four picturesque lakes that make up the fishery are well-stocked and superbly maintained, and attract anglers from local areas and further afield.
Island Lake is defined by the feature that gives it the name, and is a two acre water reaching 6ft in depth. The lake is known for its plentiful tench that often reach 7lbs, as well as a good head of carp. The lake is next to the holiday homes and is popular with residents.
Specimen Lake is regularly stocked with locally grown carp, and is known to hold fish up to 28lb. There are plentiful carp over 12lb, as well as good sized roach, perch and tench. There are many spots to fish from around the rectangular lake.
A smaller lake with low, level banks that are easy for access, Roadside Lake houses fish of many species that are often surprising sizes given the area of the water. Water lily beds add to the interest, and float fishing is popular here.
Woodland Lake is open to day ticket holders with a part of the bank reserved for residents. Pole fishing is popular on the water here with a good head of carp up to 15lb plus tench, roach, perch and rudd regularly caught.
Tickets can be booked weekly or daily, and are sensibly priced.
