Fishery Information
Tan-y-Mynydd is located in Conwy, an easily accessible, beautiful and serene North Wales countryside. It is a trout fishing beautiful place with impeccably maintained grounds.
The fishery has five pools that have been in operation for more than 50 years. The fish in the pools thrive on the natural food that is readily accessible from the abundance of aquatic life.
Three of the pools are fly-fishing only, and the trout that live there include rainbow, brown, blue, and tiger.
The other two pools are geared toward families allowed the use of various other of fishing techniques alongside fly-fishing. They are extremely popular with anglers of all ages.
What size do the fish go to?
The largest rainbow can go up to around 21lb and the largest brown up to about 9lb.
