Fishery Information
Situated in Rural Tetford, Lincolnshire, Tetford Country Cottages offers fantastic sport to both the beginner and more seasoned angler. The venue comprises of 2 private fishing lakes, both of which are home to various fishing features.
The main lake is approximately 3 acres in size and has an average depth of 10ft. Furthermore, there are numerous features, such as small Islands and overhanging trees. Additionally, there are a wide selection of spacious pegs, many of which are suitable for disabled and elderly anglers.
The second lake is much smaller but still offers excellent fishing. Again, there are a number of roomy pegs that offer disabled access as well. This spot is ideal for juniors or the angler who has just started out.
Both waters host a healthy stock of Bream, Perch, Tench, Roach and Carp.
What size do the fish go to?
Carp tend to be lighter in the smaller lake, averaging at around 6lbs. In contrast, Carp in the main lake are frequently landed in double figures, with the largest fish exceeding 20lbs. Bream, Tench, Perch and Roach generally sit between 2 and 7lbs.
What tactics work well?
Utilising pellets and boilies during the warmer months is effective. Additionally, luncheon meat, worms and sweetcorn are all popular choices of bait

Accommodation is available in the form of luxury cottages. Also, clean and accessible toilet and shower facilities are open to guests.
