Fishery Information
If you love fishing and you love beer and old pubs then the Bridge Inn Fishery could be the place for you. It is located right behind the pub and set over 30 acres of lovely Norfolk countyside.
There are a total of 6 lakes here and there really is something for everyone. If specimen fishing is your thing then there are 2 big lakes which are 8 acroes and 5 acres in size.
As well as these are there are also 2 smaller carp lakes and 2 other lakes that are used for match fishing and pleasure fishing. If lakes are not your thing then they also have a lovely stretch of the river Wensum. It really is a place that caters to all anglers as there’s a total of over 140 swims across all the lakes.
The lakes used to have a problem with otters that come in from the rivers but these have now been guarded with £25,000 worth of otter fencing which has helped protect the fish stocks.
If you stay at the B&B then you get complimentary fishing on 3 of the lakes (Bridge, puppy and long).
What size do the fish go to?
Some carp in the specimen lakes go to over 30lb.
