Fishery Information
Located in the heart of Herefordshire countryside, Millpond Fishing is a great place to take a load off. This is a family-owned business and it has been operating since 1996, with a penchant for creating lasting memories and providing a getaway from the rigours of life.
This is a three and a half acre lake, stocked with carp, perch, bream, golden tench, roach, and rudd.
Fishing is available from dawn until dusk. There is no night fishing at Millpond.
Notably, this spot recently became a residents-only fishery. There are no passes available for day fishing.
What size do the fish go to?
Carp at Millpond Fishing span up to 30 pounds, while perch dial in at four pounds. Bream are four pounds or more and golden tench of three pounds are found in these waters.
Roach and Rudd both weigh in at two pounds or more.
What tactics work well?
Anglers must use landing nets and unhooking mats, with a maximum of 12-pound lines.
Barbless hooks only.
No braided mainline, boilies, nuts, non-prepared particles, artificial bait, tinned cat or dog food, or radios allowed at Millpond Fishing.
Dog walking around the lake is not permitted.
What facilities are on site?
There is a campsite at Millpond Fishing, with 102 pitches available.
There are modern amenities blocks on the premises, with playing field and a dog walk as well.
Millpond is accessible for disabled anglers. Pegs may be reserved for those with limited mobility.
There are toilet facilities on the site, plus a bait and tackle shop. Coffee, tea, and refreshments are available.
